Executive Leadership Team
Curt is responsible for overall leadership and management of TransCor. His expertise is in logistics and strategic operations with a diverse knowledge of transportation management theories and information systems. Curt joined TransCor in 2004 following a distinguished 22-year career in the United States Marine Corps, which included a focus in transportation, logistics, and leadership development. He was named President and General Manager in 2013, after serving as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Curt is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Business Management.
Mike oversees TransCor’s assets and day-to-day operations. His leadership draws upon his years of experience in the field of corrections and military service. Mike’s military career spans more than two decades, with a focus in corrections. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, which included serving as the Commanding Officer of Marine Base Brig, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Mike joined TransCor in 2012 following a distinguished career with Corrections Corporations of America (CCA) where he served as Assistant Warden and Warden.
Walker provides management of TransCor’s financial performance, with a focus on payroll, budget and customer accounts. He is responsible for all aspects of TransCor’s finance department. Walker earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. He joined the company in 2004, after 4 years as an Accounting Manager with Corrections Corporation of America (CCA).
David is responsible for Internal Investigations, Risk Management and Employee Compliance. Additionally, he offers expertise in labor relations, worker’s compensation, fraud, general liability and serious incident investigations. David joined TransCor in 2011 following a successful career in the military, law enforcement and security. After 9/11, he voluntarily re-activated for service and engaged in several significant operations, including combat tours in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division. David holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration and a degree in Biblical Studies.
Dave leads TransCor in maintaining high standards in fleet operations through safety and quality control initiatives. He joined the company in 2009 after a nearly two decade long career with Corrections Corporation of America, (CCA), where he focused on compliance and safety measures. David is an authorized OSHA instructor, an auditor for the American Correctional Association (ACA) and has served on the National Fire Protection Administration Committee on Correctional and Detention Occupancies.
Senior Leadership Team
Tim works with federal and state organizations to interpret and ensure employment compliance within our multi-state organization. He joined TransCor in 2004 following a career in the U.S. Marine Corps., and offers experience in human resource management, accounting, logistics, recruiting, safety, and staff development and training. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the University of Phoenix.
James is responsible for supervising all logistics, trip planning and trip management. His operational analysis knowledge helps ensure inmate travel is cost effective and performed with the greatest efficiencies of people and resources. Additionally, James analyses the data to identify future TransCor service opportunities. He joined the company in 2005 upon his graduation from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Logistics and Transportation.
John is responsible for TransCor’s risk management activities. His duties include coordinating the facility’s Safety and Health activities, interfacing with all departments with plans to reduce the frequency and severity of injuries and assist the facility with ways to improve the ability to avoid, transfer, mitigate, and/or manage the risk associated with fulfilling its mission. John also participates in formulating policy or organizational changes as needed. Before joining the company, he served as Vice President and Senior Risk Control Consultant for the Willis Corporation of Tennessee.
Charles directly provides supervision and oversight for TransCor operations in Tennessee, Air Mass Moves, Transportation Specialist training and recertification and Special Needs Department. Since joining the company in 1998 he has provided stewardship as a team leader and offered expertise in staff training and development Director and trip management Director. Prior to joining the company, Charles served for ten years in the U.S. Army where he provided leadership as a Cannon Crewmember, leadership development instructor (PLDC) and Master Fitness Trainer.
Amy is responsible for the direct oversight and management of TransCor payroll, general ledger accounts, fixed assets and assists in preparing financial statements, reports and executive summaries. She joined the company in 2009 as a Staff Accountant. Prior to TransCor, Amy provided accounting services to Smoky Mountain Mental Health, The Kroger Company and Healthways. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Accounting from Missouri Western State University.
Carl oversees operations of the Transcor vehicle fleet, scheduling maintenance, maintaining maintenance records and ensuring their safe and economical use. Additionally, he oversees DOT compliance and reporting and implements vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance programs. Carl joined TransCor following a 20 year career in the U.S. Army. His service included assignments as Maintenance Control Supervisor, Platoon Sergeant and First Sergeant of a Maintenance Company with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
