TransCor America, LLC is the largest and most experienced prisoner transportation company in the country. Founded in Tennessee in 1990, the company was acquired by Corrections Corporation of America as a wholly owned subsidiary in 1995. During the past 14 years, TransCor has transported over 698,000 prisoners at all security levels. In 2003 alone, the company transported over 30,000 prisoners for over 1,000 local, state and federal agencies.

TransCor operates a nationwide ground network organized as a hub and spoke system that allows us to complete coast-to-coast prisoners transports in an average of five days. We also operate comprehensive in-state operations throughout Florida, Texas and California. The company has experience in transporting males and females, adults and juveniles, by ground, and commercial and charter aircraft.

Throughout our history we have exceeded the expectations of our customers. TransCor has continually set the standard for the level of service in the industry. We even participated in the formation of new federal regulations governing the industry and are the first company to comply with these regulations.

The company employs more than 300 transportation personnel across the country, including specially trained extradition agents, logistics professionals, mechanics, training staff and trip planners. Operating a fleet of over 90 specially modified and equipped vehicles, TransCor uses a nationwide ground network to move prisoners from coast to coast.

In addition to the nationwide network, the company also operates comprehensive in-state networks in Florida, Texas and California. The California operations were added as the result of the company’s acquisition of Tri-County Extradition, Inc. of Banning, California, as a wholly owned subsidiary on December 31, 2002.

TransCor handles all types of extraditions, including court appearances, Form VI and Governor’s Warrants. We transport adult and juvenile offenders of all security classifications, including high-risk security moves, special needs medical transports, and mass moves. These moves include in-state and interstate transports.

A few of our other operational highlights include:

• In 2002, we safely transported 35,000 prisoners for over 1,200 law enforcement and corrections agencies on the local, state and federal levels. This includes most state departments of corrections.
• We transport male and female, adult and juvenile offenders at all security levels.
• Nationwide, we employ more than 300 transportation professionals.
• With more than 90 vehicles, our vehicle fleet is the largest in the industry.
• TransCor maintains the most comprehensive insurance coverage of any company in the industry. A $50 million liability insurance policy covers incidents that might occur during transportation.
• Our coast-to-coast ground network allows for nationwide transports within five business days, depending on the type of facility and its operating hours. This expedited schedule is unparalleled in the industry.
• We are the first private extradition company to comply with the Interstate Transportation of Dangerous Criminals Act of 2000.
• Using us can save 30 to 40 % off the cost of each inter-state transport versus your internal costs for performing the same move.
• Offer guaranteed 72-hour pick up and drop off within our in-state customers in Texas, California and Florida.
• Our in-state operation in California has expanded into the Western Region, and now offers enhanced coverage and reduced pricing on move between California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona.
• We are positioned to provide flex transports and special needs moves nationwide at a very competitive rate.
• We are the only company in the industry with the size to perform mass moves. In fact in 2002, TransCor successfully completed the nation’s largest single mass move, which entailed moving 795 prisoners, within 26 hours, between facilities located in Arizona, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
• We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
